Questions?

It’s really very simple. Once you have established your profile in our system, orders will be routed to you to accept or decline. The routing is based on an algorithm that looks at your proximity to the assignment, and your past performance as relates to quality and service levels. Through that ranking, you are compared to other notaries and the assignments with basic information (time, location and fee) are sent to you for you to accept or decline. Once you accept the order, you will receive the rest of information about your borrower.
Signing order notifications will be sent via text messages and email based on your member profile coverage areas and good standing within our performance rating system. You may accept or decline signing orders as your schedule allows. If you decline signing order or do not accept it within 10 minutes, we will send this order to another notary in your area.
100% of the loan signing fee goes to the notary, who completes the assignment. Hire Notary does not dictate notary fees. Signing fees are being set by our clients; usually it’s $150 to $250 per appointment. We mail all payments for completed work on the first business day of the following week. We guarantee payment and handle all payment issues. Collections, processing fees, and bounced check fees are not your problem. With us, you are free to focus on the work, rather than administrative hassles.
To ensure we only have committed notaries in our network we charge a $48.00 annual fee. We know that other signing platforms are free to sign up and boast about a database of over 60,000 qualified notaries. We, however, believe in quality over quantity. Please note that we do not take any part of your signing fees; 100% of the loan signing fee goes to the notary, who completes the assignment, while "free" platforms are taking a half of your signing fees. "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch"
No. We serve as a business partner to notaries and clients alike, providing a uniquely developed SaaS (Software as a Service) platform as a non-biased means to introduce notaries to clients and facilitate the flow of information and files between them. However, HireNotary.com was established some time ago to provide services to title/escrow companies who prefer the Signing Service model. HireNotary.com has taken a rather unique approach instead of being a Signing Service, though, such as paying the notaries weekly and recognizing customary and reasonable fees.
In most of cases, title/escrow officers have recommended you for inclusion on our network. In other cases, we are assisting our clients by building and diversifying our notary pool. In any case, network notaries are being sought for their high quality work and consistent service levels.
HireNotary.com is committed to providing payment to the notaries on behalf of the title/escrow in the most timely and efficient way. We mail all payments for completed work on the first business day of the following week. These payments usually take from one to three days be delivered. Generally, that means if you complete an assignment on Monday, your payment will be mailed on the following Monday and, depending on your location, payment will be in your mailbox between Tuesday and Thursday (provided there were no holidays).
While we have numerous clients throughout the country and will continue to grow that base, we cannot predict where the bulk of the business is going to be geographically. What you do receive, however, will be proximate to you because you set up your service territory in your profile.
Absolutely not. 100% of the loan signing fee goes to the notary, who completes the assignment.
While we have very knowledgeable mortgage signer here at HireNotary.com, we are not here to train notaries. We expect the notaries to be well trained in their field.
Generally, if an assignment is cancelled prior to signing, we would think no charge would be made by the notary. Certainly, if a signing, travel or document printing has been done to complete an assignment, you will be paid for your time and costs.

What Our Notaries Are Saying About Us

I actually broke a record in the month of May. I’ve been doing closings for 10 years and have never ever had so many signings in one month! March and April were good, better than usual, but May exceeded all my expectations. And no low-ball offers!

My collaboration with Hire Notary goes back almost 4 years ago. In the signing world where big signing agencies tend to control everything and the notary is becoming just a “number”, I enjoyed our working relationship from the beginning due to the blend of professionalism with a touch of family feeling.
